Have you heard about Literature Wales’ Writers on Tour Scheme?  It can offer funding of up to 50% of writers’ fees towards literary events held in Wales.

Over a thousand events are funded annually and around eighty thousand people per year are reached through this scheme.  Possible events include: workshops, lectures, storytelling, Q&A with an author and poetry performances.

Have you ever thought about holding a creative writing workshop or a poetry and rap workshop for children?  These are just some quick ideas, but there are all kinds of possibilities.  The event could be anything, as long as it’s concerned with the practice, promotion, appreciation or development of literary and creative writing.
