An estimated 250,000 art organisations got involved this year for the spectacular annual World Community Arts Day.
Participants found various ways to get creative and make their mark on an event dedicated to proving that, through the arts, the world can be made into a better place.
Some organisations that got involved are the Jubilee Singers, a North London Community Choir who sang on the special day, a Digital Butterfly workshop held by Action Factory and a concert held in Galway.
The day also saw broadcastings from Homely Planet, an Internet Cultural radio station and Preston FM yOur Prescap who are continuing celebrations all this week.
