Workshop Leaders needed at dot-art Services CIC

dot-arts logoIn September 2011 dot-art Services (http://www.dot-art.co.uk/pages/about-us.php) began a new partnership with the Bluecoat, (http://www.thebluecoat.org.uk ) to deliver a range of art classes and courses, open to all, at the Bluecoat’s Liverpool city centre venue.

After the success of the initial Life Drawing course, they are now programming for Winter 2011 / Spring 2012. From November, as well as a painting course, we will be running a 10 week evening course of taster sessions in art / craft techniques and media, with the aim of giving participants an insight into a new process each week, introducing them to a wide range of skills, and also identifying which subjects will be suitable and popular for future longer courses.

Potential subjects might include (but are not limited to): embroidery, wool craft, millinery, basic woodwork, mosaics, basket work, paper making, etc, etc.

(Please note we already have confirmed sessions in: watercolour, collage, stained glass, digital photography and batik.)

The course will run on the following Thursday evenings, from 6.45-9.30pm:

24th November, 1st December, 8th December, 15th December, 22nd December, 12th January, 19th January, 26th January, 2nd February, 9th February.

From the 10 sessions, the 2-3 most successful will be selected to run as standalone 10 week evening courses during forthcoming seasons.

For more details and to apply to run a session, please email: artists@dot-art.com by Friday 30th September.
