This is a varied, busy and interesting role within the Arts Development Team and the successful candidate needs to be self-motivated, organised and flexible in order to help deliver and develop community arts events and projects.
Working directly with the Community Arts Development Manager to provide her with administrative support you will also help her deliver the community arts programme. Ideally you will be a graduate with experience in working in the arts and used to working with current office software.
Applicants should also have an ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and be a team player.
This role is to cover the community arts work hitherto undertaken by the Arts Assistant and will occasionally need to embrace GAC wide initiatives. The responsibility will include making sure community arts are well represented in central services such as the GAC’s social media, KPI’s, press reports and event evaluations.
