Music and The Deaf Course

MATD logoHave you ever wondered how to involve deaf children in your music sessions?

Two practical courses will focus on music games which introduce deaf children to pulse, rhythm, dynamics and pitch. There will be tips which help deaf children to compose their own music, play musical instruments and sign songs. Come along, be creative, develop skills and… take note!

Both courses will be identical and will be led by Paul Whittaker and Danny Lane. If you are interested, please contact us and let us know which date you want to book.

Music and the Deaf was founded in 1988 by Paul Whittaker, to help deaf people, and those who live and work them, access and enjoy music. For over 20 years they have worked with thousands of people across the UK, researched and written guides to making music with Deaf children, given hundreds of talks and signed theatre performances, led lots of workshops and set up a Deaf Youth Orchestra.
